Roll and Relax: A Total Body Treatment

Treat your tissues to an afternoon of rolling and relaxing while you empower yourself to become your own massage therapist. Self-massage eases tension, increases awareness, improves range of motion, expands your breathing capacity, and invites you to profound relaxation.
Stacey will hold healing space and guide you through a full body roll out to relieve tightness and provide fresh insights into your body. Unburden overworked muscles, disarm accumulated stress and tension, and roll your way to more freedom of movement. You’ll leave with your body and mind feeling liberated and refreshed.
Whether you are a yogi, an athlete, or a desk-jockey, you can learn how to offer your well-deserving body the gift of self-massage. And you will learn the tools and techniques you can use anytime, anywhere, to roll your way to relaxation and relief.
There will be Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls for you to borrow or purchase at the studio.
This workshop qualifies for the Yoga Tree 500hr and 1000hr Teacher Training Programs.

200-hour Yoga Tree Yoga Teacher Training
The Yoga Tree Teacher Training program is a 200-hour Level One certification program carefully designed for serious students of yoga who want to deepen their practice as well as for those students who wish to become teachers themselves. As a student in our training program, you will meet each weekend for four months*. Each week you will go deep into the practice of yoga, enhancing your knowledge and honing your practice in a wide range of topics-from alignment and anatomy to philosophy and meditation.

Saturday: 12:30 - 4:30pm
Sunday: 12:30 - 4:30pm

Embodied Anatomy, Functional Movement, and the Spirit of Yoga: An Immersion from the Inside Out
Calling all movement enthusiasts! Whether you are a teacher of yoga or another movement practice, or simply a student who is curious about your own body, this 30-hour course will provide a framework for understanding human movement. Working from the inside out, we will take a look at the layers of the body while weaving in the philosophy, spirit, and purpose of Yoga.
Learn in a tangible way by feeling your own body in familiar asana and looking at other bodies to gain a more comprehensive understanding of posture, movement, and breath. Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls will assist you in creating a body map, increasing your proprioception of both individual muscles and movement patterns. This experiential approach allows clinical language and scientific concepts to become relatable, meaningful, and applicable to your practice and your teaching. You will build the skills that create mobility, flexibility, and versatility of body, mind, and spirit. These tools will help you get stronger, move more efficiently, and embody the spirit of yoga on and off the mat.
This course is an invaluable tool for yoga teachers and serious students alike. It will enrich your practice and inspire your teaching. Teachers will gain the awareness to see bodies more clearly, sequence more effectively, and offer more precise and accessible instructions. All participants will gain insights towards a sustainable movement practice and overall optimal health by improving posture, creating balanced movement, and more efficient breathing all while connecting the deeper meaning of yoga to your practice.
