Use the belt to create strength and mobility in the shoulders as you move through a strong standing series with shoulder variations. Release the tension that accumulates in the neck, shoulders, and upper back and prepare for backbends.

From the perspective of yoga, the heart is not the muscle that pumps your blood or even the heart chakra. The heart is the essence of your being.
