Treat your tissues to an afternoon of rolling and releasing, and empower yourself to become your own massage therapist. Self-massage eases tension, increases awareness, improves range of motion, expands your breathing capacity, and invites you to profound relaxation.

Using the Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls and the Roll Model® Method techniques you will gain powerful but accessible tools to address the issues in your tissues, unglue your stuck spots, and feel better in your body.

Stacey will guide you through an exploration of your whole body. As you map your muscles with the therapy balls, your nervous system gains conscious awareness of all of your parts. Awareness reveals your blind spots and enables you to take control by releasing tension, unsticking limitation, and finding greater ease and more functional movement in everything you do.

After rolling the lower body, we will break to discuss the science behind using the balls, review the techniques, and deepen your understanding of anatomy and healthy movement. Then we will complete by rolling the upper body. A total body massage will leave you feeling relaxed, grounded, and refreshed leading to better sleep and improved health and wellness. And it will give you essential tools you can use anytime, anyplace to roll and release!

There will be an intermission for tea and discussion. Some light snacks provided. Feel free to bring your own as well, but please note the studio cannot refrigerate items for you. Each student will receive a pair of Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls PLUS to take home.
