Conscious and strong movement is the foundation for balance and spiritual growth. Come build the fundamentals of strength and alignment for all types of poses and life’s activities. In this series you will get to know your body using the Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls, corrective exercises, and yoga asana. Discover your body’s blind spots, create healthy habits and patterns, and reduce your risk of injury. In the end you will find more ease in the poses that seem difficult or unattainable and have the tools to live better in your body.

If you spend time on your computer or using your hands for detailed work you may find yourself with rounded shoulders, a weak upper back, and wrists that aren’t used to extending, let alone bearing your weight. This workshop will show you how to relieve tension throughout your whole upper body and build strength and range of motion for arms overhead position.

Not only will you relieve tension, you will get step-by-step instruction on how to build the architecture of a handstand, kick up with confidence, and cultivate the strength to support it, From whatever level you are at today – not kicking up at all; kicking up at the wall; or kicking up in the center of the room – this workshop will help you advance your practice in a safe and stable way.

There will be Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls for you to borrow or purchase at the studio. This workshop qualifies for the Yoga Tree 500hr and 1000hr Teacher Training Programs.
