Conscious and strong movement is the foundation for balance and spiritual growth. Come build the fundamentals of strength and alignment for all types of poses and life’s activities. In this series you will get to know your body using the Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls, corrective exercises, and yoga asana. Discover your body’s blind spots, create healthy habits and patterns, and reduce your risk of injury. In the end you will find more ease in the poses that seem difficult or unattainable and have the tools to live better in your body.
Arm balances can seem difficult and confusing – as though you are embarking on a futile effort to defy gravity. We will bust the myth that arm balances require only great upper body strength and learn the physics of balancing in these poses.
In truth, arm balances require a strong center, integrated limbs, clarity on how to position your body, and an understanding of where to place your focus and shift your energy to fly with ease.
This workshop will help you unlock the power of your core, show you how to shift your weight, find your center of gravity, and safely balance!
